What DPF really brings (and what it doesn’t)<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The value of the DPF is not magic. It provides <\/span>reasonable legal certainty<\/span><\/b> where previously there was uncertainty, establishing safeguards on government access to data and an <\/span>independent recourse<\/span><\/b> mechanism, <\/span>the Data Protection Review Court (DPRC)<\/span><\/b>, to which EU citizens can turn if they believe there has been undue access to their data.
